Lotus Power is a startup business, it is founded in 2024. Lotus Power combines technology and sustainability to help customers achieve their energy goals while contributing to a cleaner and more sustainable future. The main goals and targets of these systems are:

Designed in Canada and manufactured in Egypt, our solutions reflect our commitment to smart, sustainable innovation.

Beyond farm technology, our portfolio includes electric mobility systems, IoT solutions, and photovoltaic (PV) solar power systems. We collaborate with leading research institutions in Egypt, USA, and Canada to drive advancements in electrified systems.

Leadership

Maged Lewis

(CEO)

Maged Lewis has BSc in business and administration from Ain Shams University, Egypt in 1990. He worked in Weatherford from 1990 to 2011 as an operation manager. He established seven businesses in the oil & gas industry. He aims to build electrified systems that are friendly to the environment in Egypt & Middle East.

Basem Badr

(CTO)

Basem Badr has a BSc (in Electrical Engineering from Mansoura University, Egypt), a MSc (in Control Systems from King Saud University, Saudi Arabia), and a PhD (in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Victoria, BC, Canada). He has worked in different start-up and corporate businesses in North America (Canada & USA) in the biomedical, clean technology, robotics, and EVs sectors. He has many patents, books, and many publications in clean technologies and renewable energy systems. He leads R&D and product development design of electric mobility systems, electric motors, inverters (motor drives), battery systems, photovoltaic systems, loT (internet of things), embedded systems, robotics, and biomedical projects.
